The department offers the following degree programmes in Computational Linguistics (in German):
- Bachelor in Computational Linguistics (as a main or minor subject)
- Master in Computational Linguistics (as a main, minor or only subject)
Until the summer term 2008, students were able to choose the subject Linguistic Data Processing as a first or second main subject or as a minor subject as part of the Magister programme or as an applied subject in a diploma programme. These students are able to finish on their programmes or can switch to the new degree programmes.
As of autumn 2014 the department offers a new MSc programme in Digital Humanities:
