International

Welcome to Trier University!

International orientation in research and teaching is one of the central leitmotifs of Trier University. It has more than 40 partnerships with universities on all continents – focal regions being Europe, South-East Asia and the USA. About 11 percent of the student population is made up of international students coming from about 100 different countries which makes the campus a meeting place of cultures.

The International Office (Akademisches Auslandsamt) coordinates the university´s international exchange programs and supports the university administration and the faculties in the process of internationalisation. We are the central contact for students and scholars from abroad as well as for all university members who are interested in study, research or internships abroad.
