The Institute for European Constitutional Law was part of the Faculty of Law of the University of Trier.
In the Institute of European Constitutional Law research studies of comparative constitutional law at an European and international level and research studies of law of the state church are accomplished. The IECL was directed by Prof. Dr. Gerhard Robbers and composed by a team of international interested lawyers, which welcomes visiting scholars from the whole world.
