If you are an exchange student (e.g. Erasmus, ISEP, Partner University) and you were nominated by your home university to study at Trier University, you can find information on the application and admission process at Trier University here.
Dates and Deadlines
According to the winter and summer semester dates, there are two application periods when the application forms are available online and when application is possible.
If you start studying in the winter semester, the application period starts at the end of April in that year. Application deadline is July 1.
If you start studying in the summer semester, the application period starts at the end of November of the previous year. Application deadline is 15 January.
First you must complete the above mentioned application forms at www.exchange-application.uni-trier.de (URL-UT) within the application period. On the form you may check the option to participate in the introductory course which is meant to facilitate your integration in Trier with a language class, help with official procedures and cultural events. On the application form you can also check if you want the International Office to arrange for accommodation. Please do not forget to submit the application form online.
The second step is to save the pdf-version of the completed online application form. This form is your application for admission to study at Trier University. You and your coordinator at home must sign this printed pdf document. You must send this signed and scanned document by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to the International Office at Trier University before the deadline. If you want to participate in the introductory course and/or want the international office to arrange for accommodation, you must also send the registration form for the introductory course as well as the written order to arrange for accommodation.
Please be aware that your application can only be processed if it reaches us before the deadline, is complete and has all necessary signatures.
