Successful kick-off for the INTERREG project UniGR-CIRKLA

On Monday, 30 September 2024, around 60 key players in the circular economy came together at Trier University to officially launch the UniGR-CIRKLA project. An important cornerstone for the creation of a centre of excellence for the circular economy for metals and materials, which is funded by the
European Union as part of the Greater Region Interreg programme.

Leading experts in the Greater Region were among the participants,
representatives of the INTERREG programmes as well as members of the participating universities and project partners. 

Prof. Dr Eva Martha Eckkrammer, President of the University of Trier, opened the event and emphasised the
