Research
The focus of our research is patient-centred quality of care.
We are interested in how people experience care, how health care is delivered and used, how well health care meets patient needs and demands, and how health care can be delivered in a more patient- and user-centred way while continuously improving quality of health care. Another important focus of our research is exploring the challenges concerning new technologies and digitalisation in context of health care. In this regard, people with chronic conditions and multimorbidity and their health care needs and demands are of particular interest within our studies.
Research activities include the analysis of health care situations and the development and evaluation of tools, interventions, and approaches for demand-driven, patient-centred care.
