Kantian Models of Reasoning: Towards a Unified Account of Doxastic Attitudes and Rational Inferences (DAAD PRIME).

My current research develops as a follow-up to my DAAD PRIME project Kantian Models of Reasoning: Towards a Unified Account of Doxastic Attitudes and Rational Inferences. It focuses on three interconnected topics: First, Kant's theory of judgment and semantic content, including its applications to judicial reasoning; Second, the relationship between modalities of judgements and Kant’s theory of doxastic attitudes, or modes of assent; Third, the notion of rational persuasion in argumentation theory.
