On this page you can find general information about theses in our group. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any spots for new theses beginning in winter 2020/2021, because Dr. Kamp will be on parental leave. We have limited capacity for supervising new theses that will likely be completed in summer 2021 (beginning of the thesis can be the earliest in January 2021). If you are interested, please contact us as early as possible, because due to the Corona-pandemic there are some difficulties related to the research process in our group.

Topics for Bachelors and Masters Theses

Under current research projects you can find summaries of the ongoing and planned projects of our research group. Several projects may provide students with an opportunity to complete a bachelors or masters thesis (see also announcement below). If you have questions about or are interested in completing a thesis in one of our projects, or if you have your own idea that thematically fits into our group, please contact Jun.-Prof. Dr. Kamp.

Note that due to the small size of our group, we cannot accomodate every request for a bachelors or masters thesis supervision. It is therefore highly recommended that you contact us as early as possible if you are interested in completing your thesis in our group.

We would also like to note that in our group you have the option of completing your thesis in English. Depending on the suitability, we also support efforts to pursue parts of the thesis in other, international, research groups.

Finally, it is important to point out that for students who complete their thesis in our group, participation in the research colloquium, including a short presentation of the thesis topic, is obligatory in the respective semester.
