On 31 August 2023, Dr Josie-Marie Perkuhn presented her assessment of the security situation in the South China Sea at the kick-off event of the POLIS180 online lecture series "Ocean Talks: Perspectives on the South China Sea".

From 17-19.07.23 the Taiwan Week took place at the University of Trier. Three exciting lectures about Taiwan were presented.

On 19 June 2023, Dr Josie-Marie Perkuhn gave a guest lecture on the conflict scenario Taiwan in the excursion seminar "'Zeitenwende' in der Sicherheitspolitik" as an introduction to the "Wargame: on the conquest of Taiwan by the People's Republic of China".
Dr. Jiun-chi Lin gave a lecture about populist communication on Facebook in Taiwan (copy 1)
On 15 June, 23 Dr. Jiun-Chi Lin presented a part of his research about populist communication on social networking sites in Taiwan in an online lecture.
