Welcome to the teaching unit for International Relations and Foreign Politics!

The Chair's teaching and research focuses on the relevance and interrelationship of ideas, individuals, and institutions in world politics. Specifically, this involves five interrelated key aspects: Foreign Policy and Diplomacy, International Organizations and Global Governance, Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Theory and Philosophy of International Relations, and Politics and Governance under the Conditions of Globalization. The emphasis here is on the structural change of international relations, the impact potential of different actors and ideas, and the transformation of political governance processes.
