Research and Teaching
Dr. Minnu F. Pynadath is a researcher in entrepreneurial finance with a strong methodological orientation toward advanced data analytics. Her research focuses on venture capital,social venture capital, and sustainability reporting, with particular emphasis on the application of machine learning, text analytics, financial modeling, and scientometric techniques. She also engages in interdisciplinary research areas, including social network analysis, text analytics, and emerging developments in business and financial analytics.
She has over 10 years of experience instructing master ’s-level students and is actively involved in delivering courses in Finance, Business analytics, financial analytics, Social and Web analytics, and Machine learning. Her teaching responsibilities include imparting methodological and analytical competencies, with a focus on programming tools such as R progamming, Tableau, Power BI, Python, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques. She has also been awarded the Erasmus+ scholarship for teaching mobility on two occasions, reflecting her engagement in international academic collaboration and teaching excellence.
A core element of her teaching philosophy is the integration of theoretical foundations with applied analytical practice. She emphasizes the development of practical expertise in data analysis, enabling students to apply analytical methods such as predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical inference to real-world business and research problems.
