Working together for sustainability
The Trier University's Green Office is your point of contact for all enquiries relating to sustainable thinking and action. It brings together students, staff and the general public to carry out joint projects and make the university more sustainable.
Fairtrade-University
In 2018, Trier University became the first university in Rhineland-Palatinate to be awarded the “Fairtrade University” title.
The aim is to further integrate and promote fair trade across the various aspects of campus life.
The title was renewed for a further two years in July 2026.
