The Trier Research Institute for Applied Geoinformatics is part of the Faculty VI - Regional and Environmental Sciences of Trier University.


Prof. Dr. Thomas Udelhoven is the President of the Institute.

Dr. Henning Buddenbaum is the Director of the Institute.

The RIAG offers services in the areas of Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics, e.g. analyses of satellite time series, hyperspectral airborne flights with a HySpex camera system, or land use classifications.
