Projects

BrandSat - Mapping the forest fire risk using remote sensing and meteorological data (Cooperative Project with the HU Berlin)

TreeCop - Developing a Sentinel-based tool to detect drought stress in city trees in Essen

Previous Project

EnMap is a hyperspectral Earth observation satellite that is built in Germany. It is planned to start in 2021. In the EnMAP Science Advisory Group (EnSAG), we developed algorithms for using hyperspectral satellite data for forestry applications.
