The Department of Mathematics at the University of Trier is once again hosting a Mathematics Day this year for students in grades 11–13.
September 28 and 29, 2026, at the University of Trier, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day
The goal of the event is to help students experience mathematics as an exciting, dynamic, and powerful discipline and to inspire them to shape the future with mathematics. Through short presentations and hands-on activities, we will showcase various applications of mathematics. We will also provide information about studying mathematics.
To participate, schools must register by Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the latest, with Ms. Zwartenkot (zwartenkotuni-trierde), providing the school’s name, the number of students, and their grade level, as well as the names, email addresses, and cell phone numbers of the accompanying teachers.
