This workshop is aimed at doctoral candidates who are conducting qualitative research (e.g. in the form of ethnography, interviews, participant observation, oral history, document and image analysis, etc.) and are looking for support in generating research papers.
The focus of the workshop will be on the concrete presentation of qualitative research, and we will use the participants' texts to explore the diverse and disciplinary methodological, epistemological, and theoretical challenges. We will discuss the entire process of generating corresponding research papers, including text development, analysis, interpretation, and theorization.
Participants will have the opportunity to circulate their own research papers. This will allow for in-depth analysis and focused discussion to explore the complexities of presenting qualitative research together.
After a preliminary meeting on October 30, we will work in collaborative group sessions in the workshop to identify effective strategies for overcoming individual challenges.
