Orientierungsveranstaltungen für Masterstudierende (DH)

Liebe Studierende,

im Rahmen der Orientierungswoche für das Wintersemester 2016/17 an der Universität Trier bieten wir für den <link _blank>Masterstudiengang Digital Humanities am 17. und 18. Oktober 2016 einige einführende Veranstaltungen an.

Das Fach <link _blank>Computerlinguistik und Digital Humanities lädt herzlich zu den Terminen ein, die helfen werden, sich an der Universität und im Studium schnell zurecht zu finden.

Am Montag, den 17. Oktober 2016, starten wir um 10:00 Uhr s.t. mit einem gemeinsamen Kennenlernfrühstück im Raum DM 343. In diesem Rahmen werden die Fachteile Computerlinguistik und Digital Humanities vorgestellt. Ab 12:00 Uhr s.t. können individuelle Fragen an die Fachstudienberaterin Dr. Vera Hildenbrandt gestellt werden (Raum DM 328). Um 15:00 Uhr s.t. führt Matthias Schneider über den Campus (Treffpunkt Raum DM 343).

Am Dienstag, den 18. Oktober 2016, gibt es ab 10:00 Uhr s.t. erneut die Möglichkeit zu einer Fachstudienberatung (Raum DM 328). Ab 14:00 Uhr s.t. geben wir einige Einblicke die Digital Humanities-Landschaft in Trier. Um 18:00 Uhr s.t. startet dann eine Kneipentour für die Studierenden (Treffpunkt DM 343).

Welcome! Your invitation to orientation sessions in the Master’s programme Digital Humanities

Within the frame of the orientation week fort he winter term 2016/17 at the University of Trier, several introductory sessions and orientation meetings for the Master’s programme Digital Humanities are on offer on 17 and 18 October 2016. The department for Computational Linguistics and Digital Humanities cordially invites its new students to attend the following meetings to provide all information needed for a quick orientation at the university and within the programme.

On Monday, 17 October, you are invited to a joint breakfast with fellow students, lecturers, and professors in room DM 343. Within this frame, the departmental branches Computational Linguistics and Digital Humanities will be introduced. Starting at 12pm, Dr Vera Hildenbrandt, in her position as departmental student adviser, will answer individual questions in room DM 328. At 3pm, Matthias Schneider offers a guided tour across campus (meeting in DM 343).

On Tuesday, 18 October, Dr Hildenbrandt offers another possibility for individual study advice (10am, DM 328). Starting at 2pm, we offer an insight into the Digital Humanities landscape in Trier. At 6pm, we are heading downtown for a pub crawl for students (meeting in DM 343).
