Anne Benzkirch-Wacht

I hold a Master’s degree (M.Ed.) from Trier University and completed my teacher training at the Studienseminar für Berufsbildende Schulen in Trier, where I obtained the 2. Staatsexamen in 2019. Since then, I have been teaching English and German at a vocational school (BBS). Over the past 15 years, internships and various teaching roles have provided me with broad insights into different school types and educational settings. In February 2026, I joined the TEFL team at Trier University as an abgeordnete Lehrkraft.

My interests focus on effective English language teaching and assessment in the age of AI. I’m also passionate about supporting teachers’ professional development and promoting the thoughtful integration of digital technologies in EFL contexts.
