I am a research associate at Trier University's Department of Management (DE) and an affiliate researcher at the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam (NL). My research is mostly quantitative empirical and focusses on entrepreneurship (e.g., entrepreneurial finance, entrepreneurial personality) and innovation (e.g., patents, trademarks). My research has been featured by national and international news outlets, such as Brisbane Times (AU), Computerwelt (DE), Daily Mail (GB), Economic Times (IN), Handelsblatt (DE), Inc.com (US), MSN (US), Psychology Today (US), The Atlas (US),  Sydney Morning Herald (AU), and Yahoo Finance (US).
