Excursion

On Sat., Sept. 19., 10:30h – 17:15h we organise an excursionconsisting of a guided tour of the city in the morning and a boat trip on the Mosel in the afternoon.

Participation is voluntary and costs around 10 Euro.

10:30-12:30: Guided city tour: "2000 steps - 2000 years" (English)

The classic city walking tour offers an excellent overview of Trier’s history, including visits to the most important Trier sites.

Entrance fee for the Kaiserthemern (Imperial Baths) will be an additional 3 Euro, but since the Imperial Baths are the last stop this part of the tour can be skipped.

15:00-17:15: Mosel boat trip: "In the Footsteps of the Romans"

During the two-hour cruise starting from Trier, we will pass the red sandstone cliffs, the Boost shipyard, the Pfalzel district up to the mouth of the river Ruwer, the Trier lock and dam, past St. Mary's Column, the old cranes, the Roman Bridge, and the abbey of St. Matthias.
