Dr Daniela Kolbe-Hanna

Degree: PhD Trier, M.A. Freiburg

Daniela Kolbe-Hanna received her PhD at Trier University in 2008. Her dissertation topic was Complement clauses in British Englishes. Her postdoc project analyses stancemarking in varieties of English. While studying English, Scandinavian and Slavic Studies in Freiburg, she studied in Scotland and worked in the USA and Russia. She is firmly convinced that the flexiblity of language will always defy complete linguistic categorisation.

She is also currently "Gleichstellungsbeauftragte" of the Faculty (Fachbereich II).
