Program for High Potentials in Marketing and Retailing: Bachelor, Master and PhD Students

The program aims to address particularly committed students in the Bachelor's and Master's degree as well as PhD students. Applicants should have above-average academic achievements, primarily in marketing & retailing (meant specification in marketing & retailing and/or marketing & innovation, as well as corresponding Study and Research Projects) or in PhD studies. The participants receive additional qualifications and the possibility to establish essential business contacts.

Participants in the Program for High Potentials are selected after a personal meeting with Professor Swoboda and can count on valuable support in an exclusive, small group, in finding suitable internships, business contacts for projects, as well as start-up support for their careers. But also you get additional opportunities to become more professional, e.g., with the participation in private workshops, get-together evenings, meetings of the Marketing Club Trier-Luxembourg and excursions to companies or conferences. Other focuses of this special qualification are business etiquette seminars and rhetoric courses. The events are planned every six months, with four to five events per half year. These are usually get-togethers in a Trier restaurant and company excursions, with guided tours, lectures and workshops (see the impressions of the past meetings below). Finally, we support you in obtaining further scholarships (e.g., Deutschlandstipendium). A certificate with a statement of participation in the program (including attended events and additional knowledge acquired) is handed out to each participant (a criterion for differentiation in subsequent applications). There is also compulsory attendance, that is, we reserve the right to exclude participants if they miss more than twice.
