Manuel Biertz is a Doctoral Researcher at the Chair for “Political Theory and History of Political Ideas” since 10/2019. He obtained both his B.A. and M.A. in Political Science and Public Law at Trier University. He finished his studies with an explorative work on possible applications of argument mining for political science. It had been inspired by his work as a research assistant in the project "ReCAP: Information Retrieval and Case-Based Reasoning for Robust Deliberation and Synthesis of Arguments in the Political Discourse", a project of the DFG priority program RATIO. From 2015 to 2019 Manuel was a tutor for methodology, and in charge of the websites of the department.
