  • Study „Mehr Koalition wagen, Halbzeitbilanz der Ampel-Regierung zur Umsetzung des Koalitionsvertrages 2021“ published
    JProf. Dr. Theres Mattieß of the University of Trier and Prof. Dr. Robert Vehrkamp of the Bertelsmann Stiftung have examined how many promises the "Ampel" coalition has realized so far. A summary of the results can be found on the news page of the University of Trier.

  • Lecture on electoral law reform by Prof. Dr. Robert Vehrkamp on 22.05.2023 
    Prof. Dr. Robert Vehrkamp is a member of the Electoral Law Commission of the Bundestag and visiting professor at Leuphana University Lüneburg. As part of the colloquium of the Trier Institute for Party and Democracy Research (TIDuP), he will give a lecture on the topic:
    Verbundene Mehrheitsregel als Reformprinzip – ist die Wahlrechtsreform der Ampelregierung ein „großer Wurf“ oder ein „parteipolitisches Schurkenstück“?

    The event will take place on Monday, 22.05.2023 from 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm in Lecture Hall 3.

  • Open Research Colloquium of the TIDuP starts on 09.05.2023
    The Trier Institute for Democracy and Political Party Research will again hold an open research colloquium in the summer term 2023.
    Regular dates are Tuesdays, 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm, in the TIDUP meeting room (Im Treff 23 - Room 10).

  • "Rhineland-Palatinate Monitor": Surveying political culture, perceptions and attitudes led by Prof. Dr. Uwe Jun
    The Rhineland-Palatinate Monitor examines and surveys the state's political culture and creates an overview of political perceptions and attitudes among the population. What is the state of political culture in Rhineland-Palatinate? How satisfied are the people in the state with democracy? And how do the people of Rhineland-Palatinate participate politically and socially? The new "Rhineland-Palatinate Monitor" published by the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament in cooperation with the Trier Institute for Democracy and Political Party Research explores these questions and other topics related to democracy research.

  • Eröffnungsfeier des Trierer Institut für Demokratie- und Parteienforschung (TIDuP)
    Der Fachbereich III: Altertumswissenschaften - Geschichte - Kunstgeschichte - Politikwissenschaft hat am 09.12.2022 zur Eröffnungsfeier des Trierer Institut für Demokratie- und Parteienforschung (TIDuP) eingeladen.

  • TIDuP-Forschungskolloquium
    Am 25.10.2022 startete das offene Forschungskolloquium des Trierer Instituts für Demokratie- und Parteienforschung (TIDuP).
    Die Veransatltung findet im Wintersemester immer dienstags, von 12:15 bis 13:15 Uhr in Raum A 142  (Campus I) statt.
