Prof. Dr. Heike Spaderna traveled to Xiamen, China, on the invitation of Xiamen University for a teaching stay. As part of the "Little Semester" in July 2023, she delivered a lecture on "Introduction to Health Psychology" at the Department of Nursing of the Medical School. During presentations, she shared her research on psychosocial and behavioral characteristics in chronic heart failure, taking the opportunity to engage in discussions with colleagues at the partner university in Trier.
Teaching
In our courses, we provide students with the fundamentals of health psychology and general psychology, as well as practical skills in the context of nursing and health promotion. Another focus is on teaching quantitative research methods in the field of human and social sciences.
