IBM Real Time Innovation Award 2007

The chair for software engineering at University of Trier received at the end of 2007 one of the worldwide competitive Real Time Innovation Awards by IBM for implementating real-time systems, i.e. time-critical programs, using Java. Prof. Dr. Stephan Diehl was the only German among 13 recipients. The prize money is to be used to integrate the visualization techniques for dynamic, structural information developed by Diehl’s research group into an analysis tool for Real-Time Systems.
