IBM Eclipse Innovation Award 2006
The chair of software engineering at University of Trier received in 2006 for the second time one of the worldwide competitive IBM awards for his research in the context of Open Source Development Eclipse. The prize money is going to be used to provide the according to recent estimates more than 2 million users with the analysis and visualization techniques of program modifications developed at Diehl’s research group as tools in Eclipse.
