Teacher with students in the classroom
LUPE-Toolbox Website

Welcome to the LUPE-Toolbox website! Here you will find diagnostic materials for teachers designed to help uncover potential of children in elementary school classrooms.

Teachers play a vital role in fostering students’ talents, particularly during the early years of school. The LUPE-Toolbox supports teachers in identifying their students’ potential in mathematics and natural sciences. LUPE stands for 'Leistung unterstützen, Potenziale erkennen,' which means 'supporting achievement, identifying potential' in German. The LUPE project is part of the government-funded (BMBF) research association LemaS. The English version of the LUPE-Toolbox website is aimed in particular at individuals and institutes involved in the training and further education of primary school teachers, as well as researchers in the field of talent development and the identification of students' potential in mathematics and science. If you are interested in using the LUPE-Toolbox, please contact us at lupemail@uni-trier.de.
What is the LUPE-Toolbox?

The LUPE-Toolbox offers diagnostic materials developed and field-tested in collaboration with teachers as part of the LUPE project at Trier University. It also provides resources for teachers’ personal or team-based professional development.
