The ICAN offers a wide range of neuroscientific methods, which are applied in various participating laboratories with many years of experience. The collaboration between the individual laboratories enables multi-methodological investigations that provide new insights into physiological and neural mechanisms. This provides students and researchers with a diverse, modern range of neuroscientific methods. In addition to standard methods of peripheral psychophysiology, including EMG, ECG, EDA, and modern methods of eye tracking, the methodological focus is on central nervous system measurement and stimulation methods. Finally, there are several VR laboratories where complex environments can be simulated in virtual reality.
