ICSE 2014 Most Influential Paper Award

At ICSE 2014 we received the ICSE 10 Years Most Influential Paper Award for the paper "Mining Version Histories to Guide Software Change" (Thomas Zimmermann, Peter Weissgerber, Stephan Diehl, Andreas Zeller) [PDF] that we presented at ICSE 2004. In his laudation David Rosenblum said that the paper did not just stuck out because of its high number of citations, but also because of its strong influence on the kinds of research that the people in the software engineering community are doing nowadays. He called it an early milestone of the application of data analytics to large software repositories and continued that it helped lead to the establishment of mining software repositories as a very important and active line of research in the software engineering community.
