The current examination regulations for the Master of Science Data Science can be downloaded from this page (official version in German). An unofficial translation of these regulations can be found here. The last change was made on 2 August 2023 with the 7th amendment to the examination regulations from 21 December 2017.

In its meeting on 16 February 2024, the examination committee adopted rules that specify the general admission rules given in Section 2 of the FPO Data Science dated 2 August 2023. In particular, they contain criteria for the admission of applications with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, business mathematics or economics with a grade between 1.8 and 2.2 and with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject with a grade between 1.5 and 1.9.
