Mathematics Day on October 9 and 10, 2023.

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Trier is organizing a Mathematics Day for students of the 11th-13th grade again this year.

October 9 and 10, 2023 at the University of Trier, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day.

The goal of the day is to experience mathematics as an exciting, vibrant, and powerful discipline and to inspire students to shape the future with mathematics. We will present various applications of mathematics through short lectures and hands-on activities. In addition, we will provide information about studying mathematics.

To participate, it is mandatory that the school register with Ms. Zwartenkot (zwartenkotuni-trierde) by 9/27/2013 at the latest, stating the name of the school, number of students:inside and grade level, as well as the name, email and cell phone number of the accompanying teaching staff.
