Places of Law in Trier

In the winter semester 2008/2009 Professors Franz Dorn Thomas Rüfner will offer a joint seminar under the title Places of Law in Trier. We will take a look at places and buildings in Trier where laws were made, courts sat, sentences were executed—or where the law was taught during Trier's long history.

The seminar is open to all interested students. Those who do not wish to give a paper are welcome, too. The seminar will take place on one or two days in the winter semester. The exact date will be fixed after discussion with participating students.

There will be a preparatory session on July 7, at 4 pm in room C 244. If you are unable to attend this session, but would still like to participate, please send an e-mail to Professor Dorn or Professor Rüfner!
