Xander Van Tilburg

Xander Van Tilburg joined the department in September 2025. He obtained his M.A. in English and Dutch Literature and Linguistics at Ghent University, and his M.Sc. in Cognitive Science at Umeå University. Xander is a PhD student in the research group Advancing Analogical Theory in Morphology (AdvAnTheMorph), where he investigates the influence of context and frequency in analogical models for the selection of affixes in Dutch. His thesis is supervised by Prof. Dr. Sabine Arndt-Lappe.
