Julian Gschneidner studied Integrative Social Sciences (B.A.) at TU Kaiserslautern and Political Science (M.A.) at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and Masaryk University in Brno.

Since July 2024, he has been working as a research assistant for Prof. Dr Christian Nuernbergk and Prof. Dr Pascal Jürgens and is particularly involved in the research initiative ‘Digital Sovereignty of Europe (DigitS EU)’. In this interdisciplinary project, he is focussing on the regulation of digital platforms from a media studies perspective.
