Under the lead of Prof. Dr. Eva Walther, the team of the Department of Social Psychology researches the formation and change of attitudes and the influence of attitudes on behavior. The following topics, among others, are investigated in our attitude lab.

Attitudes formation and change.

Political trust and its relation to political attitudes.

The psychology of right-wing extremism.

The formation of food preferences in children.

The impact of attitudes in promoting environmentally friendly behavior

Our findings contribute to the basic understanding of attitudes as well as to attitudes in applied setting.
