The department Environmental Meteorology is integrated into the Bachelor's degree program "Umweltgeowissenschaften" and the Master's degree program in Environmental Sciences with a focus on interaction processes at the interface between the atmosphere and the earth's surface, topoclimatology, meteorological remote sensing, hydrometeorology, dispersion of air pollutants and climate processes in the polar regions.
Competence in climate issues
The department Environmental Meteorology is a member of Süddeutsches Klimabüros (Southwest-German climate office).
