The research my team is currently focused on investigating the effects of contact allergens, nanoparticles, and substance mixtures on the activation of immune cells. To this end, we work with various cell lines and focus on the analysis of released mediators and the expression of surface proteins, which are detected using flow cytometry. Furthermore, we are investigating dose-response relationships with regard to hormetic effects.
