Directions from Luxemburg, Cologne, Aachen or Bitburg
From Luxembourg (A64) or Cologne / Aachen / Bitburg (B51) take the B51 to Trier. At the traffic lights turn left onto the Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge and cross the Moselle. Follow the signs to "Hauptbahnhof" and then "University". Drive through the "Nordallee". At Porta Nigra, continue straight, keep to the left lane and bear left towards the main station. (Do not follow the signs "Universität" to the right here.)
Shortly after the second set of traffic lights (the main station is straight ahead) turn left into the "Bismarckstraße". Follow this road until the second set of traffic lights, then turn right into "Avelsbacher Straße" (follow the signs "Universität"). From then on, straight ahead. After the rising profile of the road is a roundabout. Follow the signs "Universität".
Directions from Saarbrücken or Koblenz
From Saarbrücken / Koblenz (A1/A48), change at "Moseltal" on the A602 towards Trier. Leave at the exit "Trier-Verteilerkreis" and turn left into the roundabout.
Take the second exit into "Parkstraße". Keep straight till the first set of traffic lights, then turn left into "Avelsbacher Straße" (follow the signs "Universität"). From then on, straight ahead. After the rising profile of the road is a roundabout. Follow the sign "Universität".
