Veranstaltungsbeschreibung

This interactive workshop will offer assistance and guidelines to prepare and present your poster at scientific conferences. It is aimed at doctoral candidates and will focus on general aspects like purpose, audience, story & message of your poster, as well as the contents and layout of a scientific poster. We will address the following aspects:

• What do you want to achieve and whom do you want to reach?

• Phrasing the message, Title, Text blocks – practical exercise

• Design basics for posters

• How to present a poster at a conference

Participants will be working on their own posters and should bring a digital poster or illustrations and texts for preparation of a poster.
