Profile

Maximilian Strietholt joined the Chair of Political Theory as a doctoral researcher in fall 2022. He received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science from the University of Bonn and his master’s degree in political theory from the University of Frankfurt. In his master thesis, he drew upon Kant’s philosophy in order to address contemporary issues of global justice. The thesis was supervised by Sophie Møller and Rainer Forst. His Dissertation seeks to address monetary policy from the perspective of normative political theory, with a special emphasis on theories of justice and democratic theory.
