Interview on "Democracies Are Not Slower to Respond to Corona"

Do autocratic systems cope better with a pandemic than democracies? At least that's what it seemed like during the Corona crisis. Scientists led by Professor Marc Oliver Rieger found out: Institutional factors such as democracy or autocracy are less decisive. Rather, it is a question of mentality.

Teaching in winter semester

Dear students!

Teaching in the winter semester 2020/21 will presumably still take place digitally to a large extent. More detailed information can be found on the central official website of the university.

According to the new examination regulations, the entrance test Mathematics in the Master's program will no longer be required as of winter semester 2020/21 and will no longer be held in its previous form.

I will take into account the feedback from our survey last semester: a new microphone has been purchased and offline lessons will be posted on a regular basis.

Let's make the best of this situation!

Prof. Marc Oliver Rieger
