13th European Polar Lows Working Group (EPLWG) Workshop

We plan to have the next EPLWG meeting 25 and 26 April 2016 in Paris, France.

The European Polar Lows Working Group focuses on polar mesocyclones in both hemispheres, but contributions to other mesoscale weather phenomena such as katabatic winds, tip jets, boundary layer fronts, cold air outbreaks, and weather extremes in polar regions are also welcome. This includes experimental, climatological, theoretical, modelling, and remote sensing studies.

The workshop will be hosted by the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique (LMD), Paris, France.

This is only a brief first circular of information in order to enable you to plan your conference activities for the next spring. We hope to see you in Paris next April!
