Welcome to the teaching unit for International Relations and Foreign Policy!

The teaching and research at the Chair in International Relations and Foreign Policy (Prof. Dr. Manuel Fröhlich) focuses on the relevance and interrelationship of ideas, individuals, and institutions in world politics. Specifically, this involves five interrelated key aspects: Foreign Policy and Diplomacy, International Organizations and Global Governance, Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Theory and Philosophy of International Relations, and Politics and Governance under the Conditions of Globalization. The emphasis here is on the structural change of international relations, the impact potential of different actors and ideas, and the transformation of political governance processes. On the following pages you will find information about our team, our teaching and research activities, and resources for orientation in the universe of International Relations.
