Interdisciplinary Networking
The interdisciplinary networking of PhD candidates, postdocs and junior professors is a declared goal of the Graduate Center. To this end, it supports the DocColloq team of PhD candidates, which organizes an annual interdisciplinary graduate conference as well as monthly interdisciplinary colloquia.
The PhD candidate representation also organizes networking meetings, writing weeks and other offers aimed at all PhD candidates.
PhD candidates pub crawls
The third pub crawl for PhD candidates took place on Wednesday, April 23. Following on from the successful pub crawls in the last two semesters, the third round now took place.
Visiting several pubs, we chatted about the doctorate, university life and everything else in a relaxed atmosphere. As in the last semester, we are delighted with the interest and participation of the PhD candidates and will continue to organize pub crawls for PhD candidates in the future! Until then, more get-togethers for PhD candidates are planned, so stay tuned!
