  • We promise you very individual and coordinated support during your studies.
  • Voluntary preparatory courses will make your transition from school to university easier.
  • Computer science as a major/minor allows you to combine languages and humanities subjects that you won't find elsewhere.

Important & Current for university applicants:

  • You can apply Online to study computer science or business informatics (bachelor's or master's degree).
  • As a first-year student , you can start studying in both the winter and summer semesters.
  • When applying online, you should provide your Abitur grade. However, there are no admission restrictions, so the grade is unimportant for admission.
  • The events of the winter semester begin with an orientation week in which many consultation and information appointments and a preliminary course are offered. You can find details on the pages for new students.

This area of the computer science website is entirely dedicated to our students. Computer science, business informatics and computer science teaching are considered together here. Among other things, you can find an overview of all courses in the current semester, a page for student advice and links to our departments.

For first and second semester students, the section for first-year students offers a lot of useful information.

Furthermore, all organizational documents for our bachelor's and master's degree programs can be accessed in this area. By clicking on a course of study from the overview below, you can jump directly to the associated information and documents.

For longer-term planning of your studies, we recommend the following PDF document: Long-Term Planning (TBA).
