Join the Mapathon 2026 on January 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM, at Trier University, Campus 2, Room F14. Hosted by the Student Council of Geography at Leipzig University together with 17 student groups from across Germany.

Together, we will map areas lacking reliable geodata using satellite imagery and support NGOs with open data. No prior experience required—everyone is welcome. If possible, bring a laptop, mouse, and charger. Drinks will be available for a small contribution.
