Dr. Holger Steinmetz

Research and Teaching

Holger Steinmetz is an industrial psychologist with a methodological focus. His focus is on structural equation modelling and causal inference, meta-analyses and machine learning. He is also involved in questions of industrial psychology, entrepreneurship and cross-cultural research. In teaching, he is responsible for the methodological training in the Master of Business Administration and holds the lecture "Statistics Refresher". In the summer semester, he also offers the module in the free elective area "Business Analytics", which deals with the application of machine learning in a business context. From winter semester 2025, the Master's module "AI and sustainability" is also planned, which deals with the application of anlytial approaches and data in areas of sustainability.
