Profile

Robin Jochen Rentrop is a research assistant at the Chair of Empirical Democracy Research, where he works in the DFG funded UNEQUALMAND project. After a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies and social sciences at the University of Cologne and Universidad de Sevilla, he received his master’s degree in political science from the University of Potsdam. His research focuses on the descriptive and substantive representation of young people. His research interests lie in the areas of public opinion, political attitudes and party research as well as in research on electoral behaviour. He is particularly interested in political representation, determinants of electoral behaviour and attitudes towards democracy.
