Dr. Habil Axel Kalenborn is a lecturer at the University of Trier and works there since 1993. He studied business and administration in trier and finished his diploma in 1993. After this he started to write his dissertation in the field of workflow management that he finished in 1998. The postdoctoral lecture qualification followed from 2009 until 2013. In his postdoctoral lecture he developed a software supported method to create proposals in the area of internet based systems.During this time he managed a lot of different projects with government, education and industry partners and was involved in several conferences and workshops. From 1998 to 2009 he was also shareholder and manager of the ICTeam Internet Consulting GmbH, later ICT Solutions AG that he successfully built along with two co-owners. The competencies of the company include creation, consulting, implementation and support of IT solutions. The company was focused on ICT and Internet content management technologies for performance critical applications.

Dr. Marcus Trapp studied computer science at the University of Kaiserslautern. Subsequently, he joined the Research Group Software Engineering of Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Dieter Rombach at the University of Kaiserslautern. His research interests were in the area of usability engineering and software architecture. He participated in several projects in the domain of Ambient Intelligence (especially Ambient Assisted Living and Ambient Assisted Training), which were mostly interdisciplinary staffed. After finishing his PhD he joined Fraunhofer IESE (Institute for Experimental Software Engineering). Currently, he is department head of the Information Systems Development (ISD) department. He contributes to national and international research and industrial projects in the area of user experience for business applications, interaction design, and user interface prototyping.  Thereby Dr. Marcus Trapp always looks at projects, customers, end users, and system developers from a holistic perspective. He transfers innovative, practice-proven methods and knowledge that are grounded on an empirical basis, into industrial practice.
